🍓 Strawberry U-Pick Update 🍓

Looks like we can pick berries again! 😉

We will be OPEN on Thursday, April 11th from 4:00-6:30pm (or until picked out) 🍓

🥾 MUD BOOTS WILL BE NEEDED 🥾 Please wear your boots as our field is muddy.

🍓 There is lots of ripe berries for picking’ if you don’t mind the mud.

🍓 Strawberries are $5.00/lb

🍓 We provide the containers but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please be sure to weigh them with us in the General Store first!

🍓 No activities are open at the farm therefore, no admission is required

🍓 If you are driving a distance, and not arriving between 4:00-5:00pm, please call first to ensure we still have a decent amount of berries before making the trip!

🍓 Sorry, no pets allowed in the strawberry field due to food safety regulations

❗️🍓Update on the strawberry fields 5/8/24: Unfortunately, due to the rainy and cloudy weather, our plants have succumbed to disease and rot issues and therefore we will NOT have strawberry picking available during our Homeschool Day. We really hoped we would but unfortunately the weather had other plans. 🍓❗️

 

❗️Due to the weather and the amount of rainfall received, we had to RESCHEDULE the Homeschool Farm Field Trip day to Wednesday, May 15th from 9:30am – 1:00pm ❗️

 

Here are the details:

✏️ Your tickets will automatically be accepted on the new date May 15th

✏️ The new Homeschool day will take place during our Sunflower Festival season. However, we can NOT guarantee blooming sunflowers by this date.

✏️ The life cycle lessons will now be about the crops we grow each spring at the farm: strawberries & flowers. The lessons will be at 10:30am, 11:30am & 12:30pm

✏️ We’ve given y’all an additional 30 minutes in the morning for an arrival time to hopefully reduce lines at opening time (we will open at 9:30am now!)

✏️ Firenze Family Farm will still join us with their chick holding experience AND you can even purchase the chicks to take home!

✏️ If you are unable to attend the new date, please email us your confirmation number to [email protected] and we can issue you a refund

Birthday Barn Reservations are LIVE for the Sunflower Festival 2024

Sunflower Festival Birthday Barn reservations are now open! 🥳

Let us host your child’s birthday or special event this spring at Western Belle! Have an affordable birthday with hours of fun for everyone! You bring the people and food and we will provide the FUN! 🤠

Over 20+ activities at the farm are included with everyone’s admission fee.

When reserving the Birthday Barn:

🎈 It’s $50 to reserve for a set time slot

🎈 Time slots are 10:00am – 2:00pm OR 2:15pm – 6:00pm (8:00pm on some dates!)

🎈 4 picnic tables & 2 folding tables are provided

🎈 All birthday guests will get $2 off the General Admission rate of $14

🎈 Bring in your own food (no outside alcohol is permitted)

🎈 Choose from a time slot for the barn- but feel free to stay and play as long as you’d like!

🎈 Birthday favor Animal Feed Cups are discounted to $2.00 each

🎈Set your budget by determining who you will/won’t pay for. Everyone entering with your group will automatically get the discounted admission rate regardless of who pays for them.

All you have to do is invite your guests, bring the food, and we will keep y’all entertained for hours with the activities and animals at the farm! Dates book quickly, don’t wait! 🤠

Please note: We always recommend having a back up rain plan. This is an outside festival/birthday and therefore, rain cancellations are a risk. You will be refunded the rental fee if we have to close the farm due to the weather! 🤠

Strawberry U-Pick 🍓

IT’S PICKIN’ TIME! 🍓

The moment y’all have been waiting for… we are opening our STRAWBERRY U-PICK! 

We opened on 3/12/24 for the first picking and we were picked out within 45 minutes. It has since slowed and we haven’t had “picked out” issues since opening week. Stay tuned to our social media pages and our website (here) for daily updates on the picking availability! Our season is just getting underway and we have thousands of berries coming!

Here’s the details:

🍓 We’ve got the picking containers. Our scale is already calibrated to account for these containers and therefore, you don’t need to bring your own!

🍓 Strawberries are $5 per pound

🍓 We are NOT charging an admission fee like most patches, however, we ask that you please respect our hard-work and investment in this crop and that you refrain from eating berries while picking. We want to keep costs down for you and we want to be able to continue this annually!

🍓 The U-Pick field is only accessible by walking to it. 

🍓 We have a Porta John.

🍓 Our activities at the farm are NOT open. Activities will only be available during our Easter Festival (March 29-30 & April 6-7)

🍓 No pets can be in our U-Pick field due to food safety regulations

🗓️  WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10TH from 10:00am to 1:00pm

A special field trip day at the farm for our homeschool community. Come explore, learn and play at the farm at a special discounted field trip rate on our Homeschool Day! ✏️

🤸🏼‍♂️ Over 20 farm activities included and open for “free play” (except for our apple cannons)

Plus special Easter Festival happenings:

🍓 Strawberry life cycle lessons will be held at three different times: 10:30am, 11:30am & 12:30pm

🐥 Baby chick holding experience provided by our friends at Firenze Family Farm

🐰 Play with the bunnies in Bunnytown

Cost: $7 per person

(Ages 2 & under are free)
