We’ve had a tough season being able to open with all of the rain, and unfortunately, the lower part of the sunflower field is still a little muddy, but if you come prepared with old shoes or boots, you can get some absolutely beautiful photos right now! 📸 🌻

Due to the rain and mud conditions at the farm, we are sad to say we will be CLOSED today, Saturday June 6th. 🌧️

This has been a hard season so far. Our flower fields are finally in peak bloom and we have received constant rainfall this week. The ground was already “soft” and full of moisture, so with this 1.2” of rain overnight, our field and parking lot conditions are now far too muddy to be able to open today.

Please stay tuned for Sunday’s hours. Depending on when the rain stops, how much sun we receive today, we may or may not be able to open tomorrow. We will evaluate the farm conditions and update no later than 8:00am Sunday, June 7th!

We’ve got 5 acres of beautiful flower fields and photo ops! We have 6 different varieties of sunflowers as well as zinnias and cosmos!

 

Here is everything you need to know for the flower U-pick season at Western Belle:

May 30th – June 14th

 

⏰ HOURS:

Tuesday – Friday: 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Saturday: 10:00am to 8:30pm

Sunday: 12:00pm to 8:30pm

🤸🏼‍♂️ REMINDER: The festival activities (such as the slides, jump pillow, zip lines, farm animals, hayrides, etc) are NOT open during our flower U-Pick.

 

📸 PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS:

There is no requirement for disclosure of utilizing our flower fields for professional photography. You will just need a paid admission and you can visit during our advertised farm hours.

✏️ 🍓 HOMESCHOOL DAY RESCHEDULED🍓✏️

We are sad to report that due to the rain and the mud conditions at the farm, we have decided to RESCHEDULE our Spring Homeschool Day to Tuesday, May 5th.

We held out to see the rainfall total today and to evaluate the grounds and decided we can’t pull off an enjoyable event tomorrow due to the current farm conditions.

You have two options for your April 22nd Homeschool Day tickets:

1. You can attend on the new rescheduled date of TUESDAY MAY 5th 9:00am to 1:00pm
2. You can use your Homeschool Day tickets at our Strawberry Festival instead: this Saturday April 25th 10:00am-6:00pm

‼️There is NO NEED to contact us to change your tickets. Your tickets for April 22nd will be automatically accepted on either of these two date options‼️

We look forward to having y’all out to the farm this spring!

🍓 WE HAVE CANCELLED THE STRAWBERRY U-PICK FOR MONDAY APRIL 20th 🍓

Upon walking and picking in our field for pre-picked strawberry orders, we have realized that we lost more berries than we thought to recent rains. They appear good, but when touched, they are soft and no good.

We are struggling to fill pre-picked berries orders and have decided to CANCEL our plans to open this afternoon for picking.

We don’t want to run y’all out to the farm today to only make you hunt for berries.

We had hoped to clean the field out before tomorrow’s rains but it seems as if our Sunday afternoon pickers did so more than we thought.

Sorry to cancel… stay tuned. We hope to have picking open again this week once we see what tomorrow’s rains bring!

Our plants are producing TONS of berries right now so we are going to offer a Friday afternoon/evening pick this week in hopes of cleaning out the field before the possible rain this weekend! 🍓🤠

We will be open for strawberry picking this Friday, April 17th from 3 PM to 8 PM!

Our Sweets building will be open with Strawberry donuts, slushies, lemonades, and MORE! 🍓

HERE IS THE INFO YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR OUR U-PICK 👇

🍓 Strawberries are $6 per pound and weighed once you finish picking

🍓 We will provide FREE disposable picking containers for you to help gauge what you are picking. We also have reusable 4qt buckets available for $2.50

🍓 We are NOT charging an admission fee, however, we ask that you please respect our hard-work and investment in this crop and refrain from eating berries while picking.

🍓 Other activities at the farm are NOT open

🍓We have a Porta John bathroom available

🍓 The U-Pick field is only accessible by walking to it and it is not a short walk
