βοΈOur first two weekends might be your best chance for sunflower field photos this seasonΒ βοΈ
We might have been a little too negative because we wanted your expectations low. However, we have good news to report! π The smaller sunflower field that survived is starting to bloom and itβs going to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL for opening weekend! π€©π» (The zinnias are really popping too!)
Due to the weather these past few weeks, we lost 4 acres of our 6 acres of flower fields. We went big this year and had planted a much larger flower field for yβall βΉοΈ
While we canβt guarantee the bigger field we replanted just yet, the sunshine the past few days has been really good for those young flowers and theyβve been doing well! βοΈ
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
π In order for us to protect the currently blooming sunflower field for everyone to enjoy and take photos in, there will be NO U-pick sunflowers; BUT you can cut your own zinnias!Β Β βοΈ
π HOWEVER, we couldnβt let you leave the farm empty handed π So we will have a limited supply of several hundred pre-cut sunflowers available for purchase! π»π
π We are doing less photo ops in the flower fields than usual to ensure that the natural beauty of the flowers shines through. However, we will still have over 10 different photo ops for you to utilize around the farm!
While Mother Nature has modified our plans this year, we are making the best of it! Some years the weather is perfect, and other years it isnβt (like this year π)
We are doing our absolute best to still make this Sunflower Festival a great experience for yβall!
We are so grateful that despite the flooding spring, we still have two beautiful acres of flower fieldsβ¦and hopefully more on the way! (Stay tuned for updates on that field!)
We hope to see you this weekend for OPENING WEEKEND! π€©
